Went on a week long school field trip to Northland. This included, in no particular order - going to 90 mile beach (which is actually 90km); Bay of Islands; Kauri Museum, an organic farm; a Kumara plant; Waipoa Forest; Pahia, Matai Bay, Cabel Bay, Kerikeri, a beach; Ahipara beach; a beach; and about a million other beaches where we measured crap.

Sleeping locations- an old folks home/hotel (really old school hotel, which, if you climbed out your window, had a porch that acted as a walkway to other peoples rooms); a Marae; (a large Maori meeting house) with 80 other people; a Kiwi Reserve, where I saw no Kiwi

other stuff.

Got home Friday, went to a lantern fesival that had outdoor karaoke. Attempted to sing Twist and Shout but was cut do to time.

Went on a field trip to Raglan with girls from BU and Sheila. We went to- more beaches, some with imaginary hot springs; random farms to eat on cliffs with fisherman. Also- hiked on a farm amongst cattle, and then in a forest, and then in a cloud.
