Crunch

Tried to go away this weekend on a larger group trip, but costs were high, so I opted to make my own, cheaper, less formal trip.

My less formal trip, was ruined due to several factors: Inaccurate weather reports, slow movers, but mainly, lack of car accessibility. I left saturday morning attempting to get a car, but, getting a car turned into getting a gelato (raspberry and white chocolate, mmm), and that turned into bungee jumping.

It was a whim decision, being that I had never planned on bungee jumping, but I needed to make something of what would have been a rather lustless weekend.

Conclusion: Jumped off Auckland's Harbor Bridge... backwards... got dunked into the water. But hit the water so hard I got a black eye, which to many just looks like smudged makeup... I am not sure which is worse.
Later that evening I went to a toga canoe party, dressed as a shepherd in brown bed sheets.

Goal: 3-day hike, Tongariro, this weekend.
Currently: Hungry

  1. hiking is so tiresome, a lot of leg work, like climbing stairs. I hiked in Utah - Sqauwpeak mountain. i was huffin' & puffin' away. miss you.
